Cranbrook Summer Camp, August 2019

Every August, for the past 9 years, I have attended Summer Camp, in the Kentish town of Cranbrook. Camps are a good way to learn improve your techniques and knowledge. A lot of rules that apply to class, are broken for camp. For beginners who aren't ready for weapons, camp gives them the chance to try. There is usually good mix of people of different experiences. It is a good time to learn off others who you've not met before and isn't your regular teacher. August is definitely a good time for camp. In all the years I have attended, it has been more sunny than it has rained.

Summer camp 2019 is done and dusted for me. It's been another enjoyable and productive camp. Many thanks to our teacher Dan Docherty. The turnout has been amazing. This year, we've had the pleasure to train with our friends from Belgium and the Netherlands. It is always good to make new friends from home and afar. Thank you very much. 🇬🇧 🇧🇪 🇳🇱
