Tai Chi class updates

It has been a month since we've started classes again. So far so good and as we approach autumn, we really must look at plans going forward. It is starting to get dark earlier and the nights are cooler. As ever, the welfare of my students are a priority. As for the coronavirus, we're not out of the woods yet, though lockdown rules have been relaxed. There's no room for letting your guard down. We must all do our bit and avoid creating more pressure on the NHS.

With that in mind, I was considering moving classes indoors in September, but the church we use is having a deep clean and won't be open until October. So we will continue to train outdoors until we can go indoors. We will need to be mindful of what is considered safe and sensible. There are limited spaces available, so please book in advance. In line with advice set by the UK government, we will adapt how we do things in class.

  • Please wear a facemask.

  • Please bring hand sanitizer with you.

  • Social distancing rules apply, we will keep 1.5 metres apart.

  • There will be no physical contact.

  • If you're not feeling well, it is better to remain at home.

Tai Chi in the Park For the month of September, we will train on the terrace at Dunorlan Park and class will be from 6.30 - 7.30PM. Fee will be £5 per person.

Places are limited to a maximum of 8 per class. This class is now full and closed to new students. I will make allowances for those that have previously contacted me and have expressed an interest. Classes will be on the following dates: 09/09/20 16/09/20 If it rains, we will meet in the space under the cafe.

Tai Chi at Hawkenbury Church Hall From October, we will train at Hawkenbury Church Hall (Hawkenbury United Reformed Church). We're in the large hall at the back and class will be from 6.30 - 7.30PM. Fee will be £6 per person.

£5 per person if you bring your spouse or partner, or pay for classes upfront.

The following dates will be as follows:

07/10/20

14/10/20

More dates will be announced shortly.

Flourish Wellness at Kingdom Kingdom in Penshurst have been open for over a month and are offering a range of health and wellness classes.

I have moved my class to Thursday evenings and it will be from 6.30 - 7.30pm. Please book via their website Flourish Wellness at Kingdom.

Spaces are limited and whilst it is dry, we will be outside. However, if it rains we'll train in the studio. Places are limited to a maximum of 8 per class, so please book early to avoid disappointment. I hope to see you soon.
